In 1982, Fritz Sieber and his son, Michael, founded the company Simba Toys with five colleagues. Thanks to well-considered forms of incorporation, the SIMBA DICKIE GROUP today combines several successful, independent companies which cover all toy-related areas.

With more than 1,000 employees and headquarters in Fürth, the centre of the German toy industry, and Hong Kong, it is one of the largest toy manufacturers in the world.

The first Hong Kong office was established in 1985. Its international orientation has opened up the foreign sales market to the Group; since 2006, more than half of the total turnover has been coming from this market. Today, the SIMBA DICKIE GROUP has branches in more than 20 countries in Europe, Scandinavia, Asia and the USA.

The Group’s range of toys now includes more than 3,000 articles. A modern logistics centre covering an area of around 75,000 square metres in Germany distributes the toys throughout the world.
